Semi-plenary lecturer: Chenfeng Li

Professor Chenfeng Li received his BEng and MSc degrees from Tsinghua University in 1999 and 2002 respectively, and received his Ph.D. degree from Swansea University in 2006. Since 2007, he has been working as a lecturer, senior lecturer and associate professor in the Zienkiewicz Centre for Computational Engineering at Swansea University. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Engineering Computations, a member of IACM, ECCOMAS, and an executive council member of ICACM. He has guest edited four special issues in international journals, authored over 60 peer reviewed journal papers, and served as chair or committee member for over 15 international conferences. He works mainly in computational engineering, computer graphics, civil and structural engineering, geo-mechanics and oil & gas reservoir, with a special focus on computer simulation of deformation, fracture, energy and mass transport, physically-based modelling with visual applications and data-driven stochastic modelling and probabilistic engineering.
